One minute you’re scrolling.
The next, you’re spiraling.
You feel everything all at once.
Regret. Comparison. And that low hum of not enough.
I was there the other day.
Saw someone post about a big promotion on LinkedIn.
And boom.
Why didn’t I just finish my MBA?
It was swift, but still destructive.
Still energy draining.
The past doesn’t just pull you.
It traps you.
And just like that, you’re stuck again.
The only way to get unstuck is to move forward.
Years ago I read Ria Baeck’s Collective Presencing. She wrote:
“Always stay open to the minimal next step.”
That makes sense to me.
You don’t need some master plan.
You don’t need to leap.
You simply need forward motion.
I’m working on this as I get ready to pitch a presentation to companies.
One step a day.
That’s it.
And that’s enough.
My confidence is rising.
My energy too.
I coach clients to ask:
What’s the next minimal step I can take today to improve my...
health
relationships
focus
creativity
Pick one.
Write it down.
Do it.
Because that old loop of should have and could have will chew you up.
And the only way to shut it down… is to move.
