As a kid, my parents called me Clumsy Carolyn (yep, my birth name). Scraped knees, spilled drinks—every night.
In my twenties, I was restless and reckless. I dropped out of my MBA program, quit my job in NYC, and backpacked through Europe. Yoga and meditation helped me slow down and find my footing.
Now, I’m mostly steady. And here’s what I know:
Steady is strong, calm, and clear—and that’s sexy.
Building steadiness takes awareness. Start here:
Where, when, and with whom do you feel unbalanced or scattered?
Where, when, and with whom do you feel strong and grounded?
Write it down. Notice the patterns.
Next time you feel off balance, ask:
What do I need right now to steady myself?
Pause. Listen. The answer is usually there.
Then take one small step— plant your feet, slow your breath, or say no to what doesn’t serve you.
Steadiness isn’t something you find—it’s something you build. And the more you do, the stronger, clearer, and yes, sexier you’ll feel.
