Moxie: The Edge You Thought You Lost
Spark #71 - The moment to step up isn’t coming—it’s here. Let’s go.
That fire, that edge—you know it’s in you, but maybe it’s faded.
Maybe it’s been drowned out by stress, exhaustion, or just the grind of life.
I’ve been there.
For years, I felt like I was underwater—sluggish, uncertain, stuck.
My confidence took a hit.
My drive dulled.
I chalked it up to getting older.
What I didn’t realize? I was dealing with menopause—brain fog, interrupted sleep, weight gain.
Like so many women, I had no idea these symptoms were connected.
I just thought I was losing my edge.
Then, one day, I picked up a beach read. The author described a character as having Moxie.
And it stopped me cold.
Wait—that was me.
Moᐧxie (noun): A fighting spirit. Grit. Determination. The refusal to back down.
I used to have it.
I used to chase ideas, go after what I wanted, push forward no matter what.
But somewhere along the way, that fire dimmed. I got caught in the grey zone—going through the motions, second-guessing myself, feeling like I was stuck in a loop.
So, I made a change.
I started strength training, revamped my diet, got educated on menopause (and I'm now a certified menopause coach!), and recently launched Sparked.
And my world looks very different.
Now, I’m fired up again—excited to press boundaries, get out of the grey zone, and turn up the volume in all areas of my life!
And I want that for you too.
So, where’s your Moxie these days?
If you had to rate it from 1 to 10, what’s your number? Be honest.
If it’s feeling low, I get it.
But here’s the thing—your Moxie isn’t gone.
It’s just buried under the noise, the doubt, the “I’ll figure it out later.”
It’s waiting to be reignited. And I’m here to help you do just that.
It’s time to crank it up. Right now.
And it starts with a spark.
