Lessons from my first (and greatest) business coach
When I started my first business at 24, my dad, an entrepreneur himself, gave me this advice:
“Every day, you’ll run into problems—every single day. So don’t be surprised. Get used to solving them, and you’ll be just fine.”
He was right.
He didn’t just tell me how to navigate business—he showed me. His lessons are part of me now.
Lucky me.
I carry his wisdom with me every day:
Build something that matters.
Solve problems.
Be kind.
Let go of grudges.
Stay out of gossip.
Lift others up.
My dad set the bar high. I do my best to live by it.
Seven years ago today, I lost my dad—my business coach and my valentine. ❤️
I am always touched when you share about your Dad. Wish I could have met him, I’d have lots of questions for him. What a great dad, life coach and mentor. Lucky you indeed. 💖💖💖
