Resistance to change is sneaky.
It shows up as tension, hesitation, or a quiet discomfort we brush off—until it drags us down.
For me, it starts as a tightness in my gut.
Then comes the drag—procrastination, hesitation.
That’s my cue: something’s off.
Since launching Sparked on January 1, I’ve been all in—daily posts, podcasts, engagement, coaching. I love it. It’s pushed me in all the right ways.
But last week, I felt a shift—subtle tension, a hint of hesitation.
So, I paid attention. I journaled. I asked myself:
What needs to shift?
What’s not working?
I wrote it down:
Cara, take weekends off. Post Monday through Friday.
My body exhaled. Instant relief.
So that’s the plan—Weekday Sparks.
Whew!
What about you?
Have you been feeling that quiet nudge? A hesitation? If something’s off, don’t ignore it. That quiet resistance is telling you something.
Listen. Adjust. Then feel your body exhale.
Trust me—the relief of change is sweet.
Enjoy your weekend. See you Monday.
✨P.S. Thanks for being here. Your support means everything. Please consider sharing these Sparks with a friend. It helps more than you think.
That's so true, and for me can be a fine line of not procrastinating or avoiding and listening to take care of myself. I think you're right about listening to my gut, head, heart, depends on the situation, but really paying attention to what my Self is telling me, if that makes sense 🤔 🙃 😅
There is so much wisdom in this Cara!
You’ve done so well, and given so much this year. 🙏👏
Enjoy your exhalarating ;-) weekend.
