Sometimes the best thing I do all day is stop for a few minutes and loosen my grip on everything I’m carrying — the roles, the plans, the history. As a father, a grandfather, and someone who spends a lot of time on the pickleball court, it’s easy for me to stay wrapped in motion. But a few quiet minutes during a hectic day has a way of resetting the whole system. A small pause, big effect.
It is easy to stay in motion. I’m as guilty as anyone. You are right, that a small pause can have a big effect. And we won’t know it until we try. Thanks Bob!
I wasn't going to mention it, but I meditate twice a day. Once in the morning as soon as I get up, and in the late afternoon before dinner. These are definitely quiet times, but during the day, right before or after writing or interacting with others, I like to take a few minutes to chill out (so to speak).
Yes indeed my friend
Glad you get me.
I needed to read this today. I need to release.
Oh good!
It's amazing how many people won't even take 5 minutes for themselves. It's not optional. It's essential like you're sharing Cara.
We keep reminding each other. Some day it will stick.

I’m so glad you did mention it. Thank you for being a great example Bob. We need to share what’s working with each other.
Breathe….pause….release….💫🧘♀️✨
Yes. Rinse and repeat.
Sounds delightful. Don't mind if I do!
Please do!
I wonder if you know this song: https://youtu.be/m_k1ZEZg138 — it’s the meditative musical version of this post. (For which … thank you!)
I do not! Thank you Susie. What a great share.
