Once the Decision Is Made
Spark #98 - Maybe this message isn’t for you today. Maybe it’s for the day you stop waiting.
You’ve done hard things before.
You’ve shown up.
You’ve kept going when others quit.
But lately you stall.
You second-guess.
You hesitate.
You know what needs to happen—but something makes you hold back.
There’s a quote I come back to over and over.
It’s from U.S. Gymnastics Coach Christopher Sommer:
Once the decision is made, nothing interferes. Nothing can sway you from your purpose.
Once the decision is made, simply refuse to budge. Refuse to compromise. No emotion, no drama, no beating yourself up.
It’s not about what you decide.
It’s when.
And when you do?
Refuse to budge.
No more stalling.
No more dancing around it.
No more waiting for the perfect moment.
Take this or leave it.
Maybe this message isn’t for you today.
But maybe it will be when it finally hits you:
I can’t keep doing this job.
I can’t keep ignoring this relationship.
I can’t keep putting off my health.
Once the decision is made—really made— nothing interferes.
One decision. One step.
Grab your journal. Write it down like you mean it.
Then take a step.
Even a tiny one.
Trust yourself.
Keep going.
This is how you get unstuck.
This is how you feel strong again.
This post is just the start.

Sometimes you just need to remind yourself of what you’ve accomplished before. I enjoyed this, thanks Cara!
