Life in High Definition
Spark #107 - You don’t need more time. You need to notice the time you’re in.
The moments that matter most are already happening.
We spend most of life half-awake—moving so fast we mute the chance to feel fully alive.
But when you stop trying so hard and simply notice, something shifts.
Your body comes online.
Your senses sharpen.
The world snaps into focus.
That’s a high-definition moment.
And we remember them viscerally.
The emotional high of getting married.
The sting of not getting the job.
But the one that hit the hardest for me? The day my dad died. I still remember the exact smell of that cold February air. It hit me before the grief did. Everything felt vivid. Every sound, every breath.
You don’t need to climb a mountain or hit rock bottom to feel it. These high-definition moments are right here—walking the dog, sipping your coffee, folding laundry.
You just have to get out of your head and into your body.
That’s high-definition. Not always joyful. Not always dramatic. But always real. And it wakes you up.
You don’t need more time.
You need to notice the time you’re already in.
Stop. Breathe. Let yourself feel what’s here.
