Are we truly relaxed, or have we forgotten what that even feels like?
In a culture that glorifies productivity, relaxation has become rare—almost foreign. We're constantly “jacked up,” tense, and on edge—a lifestyle we now accept as normal.
But real relaxation means being free from tension and anxiety. So, how often do you feel *truly* at ease? And even when you do, how long does it take before the world pulls you back into overdrive?
Today, I challenge you to redefine relaxation—not as a break from life but as a way of being. If we want to be steady in a chaotic world, we must start with ourselves.
How do you release tension and find calm?
My sometimes daily go’s-to are:
morning meditation (even if it’s a quickie!)
journal time
walk on the beach
teaching or taking a hot yoga class
after cross-fit class (I love that post workout release)
making soup or salad
watching the sunset
evening bath
Share yours in the comments. I’d love to know!
