A teacher named Nova Knutson said it first: The cage is not locked.
I’ve carried that quote with me for years. I remind myself of it when I feel stuck. When the obstacles feel too big. When I’m not sure it’s possible.
I remind myself that these are stories I keep telling myself.
And if I keep believing I’m locked in, I’ll never find the door.
The truth is, most won’t even look for that door.
Maybe because we don’t believe it exists.
Maybe because we don’t think we deserve it.
That’s the real cage.
Finding the way out might mean asking for help. It might mean telling somebody what you really think. It might mean doing the thing that scares the life out of you.
The cage is not locked.
The door is there. The only question is whether you’re ready to look for it.
P.S. There's a video to go with this one. Watch here → [The Cage Is Not Locked]

Another inspiration to keep me going, I will definitely repeat this one - the cage is not locked.
Great point Cara, and yes, this reminds me of a song--"Already Gone" by the Eagles.
The line "so oftentimes it happens that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we have the key."
